I know, I know, it's February and I am late posting pics from Christmas. I finally gotten around organizing all my photos from 3 separate memory cards at 4 GB each. That's 12GB of photos, and to say there were a lot of photos is an understatement. We here are a few of many pictures to be updated. The kids as usually had a lot of fun opening up gifts for Christmas.

Lake Tahoe for Xmas 2009

Once again we headed to Lake Tahoe for Christmas. This is 2 years in a row now that we have gone up there for Christmas. At least this time the conditions were much better. I snowboarded for the 1st time and ate a lot of snow and my ars was in pain by the end of the trip. The kids enjoyed the snow but freaked out when I took them in the gondola up to the top of Heavenly. Overall the trip was a great experience.

Maximus' 1st month

Girls being Girls

New wide angle 10-22mm lens

Okay so I finally got my wide angle lens for better group pictures and the amazing wide angle lens gives me a new perspective when shooting. If you look at some of the shots I am literally 6 inches away from my kids face and am still getting a great dynamic range. As you can also see, some of the shots have very unique perspectives that exaggerate certain aspects of the subject. It allows me to have more creativity when shooting profile or scenic shots. Check them out!!!

Halloween 09

So for Halloween Alyssa was a monkey again and Ashley was Cinderella and a Fairy. Well Halloween allows the kids and adults to act silly. We took the kids to Sherrie's work for their annual Halloween Party. Sherrie won for most creative costume again. That's three years in a row. The first two years she was a "cereal" killer and a Dixie Cup. This year she was a night stand, a "one night stand", hehe!!! I first thought she looked liked a file cabinet, but you be the judge. For Halloween, we took the kids trick or treating around the Mesa College area and they lasted for a few hours. Check out the pics.

Sacramento Weekend

Our weekend trip to Sacramento the last week of October was an emotional roller coaster. We went up there to attend Sherrie's uncle's funeral. He past away due to brain cancer. That same weekend was also Sherrie's birthday. We had a chance to meet up with the family before the holidays. So the kids are still too young to comprehend the truth about the trip, they just thought the trip was to visit their cousins because we would not be able to go up there for the holidays. While up there the kids and Sherrie all got new hair styles. We also attended a birthday party too.

So Arielle is now 5 and is going to school. The kids had a blast at the party and enjoyed the open back yard to play in. They also enjoyed the Jumper and definitely ate a lot of food and sweets. The day ended up being very nice weather wise. Another year another party, and boy does the time fly by.

We had the pleasure of attending Noah and Lucas' Birthday Party. The girls had fun as usual. When there is a jumper, the kids go crazy and can pretty much play in there the rest of the day.

So we spent the weekend at Disneyland and California Adventures back on the last week of July. Sorry for posting these so late. I didn't realize that I took over 200 shots. For day 1, we spent the entire time at Disneyland. The kids amazingly stayed awake up till midnight when the park closed. Let's just say it was a very loooong day. Day 2, we went to California Adventures. This was our first time there. It's an okay park, but I think it will get better once all the new rides are finished being built. We however enjoyed the close up interactions with all the Disney characters. That was a plus. Check out the pics. The kids once again had a great time.
